GHL pipeline design that shows where jobs are stuck

On the stock opportunities board, "New request" and "Ready for pickup" look identical. The pipeline designer gives every stage its own color, make deal values stand out and restyle cards and toolbar, so a glance tells the service manager where the work is piling up.

The short answer

What does a GHL pipeline design change?

Only the look of the opportunities board. Stage headers, column backgrounds, deal cards, values and the toolbar take on one of 12 designs, with stage colors given out by column position. Pipelines, stages, deals and automations are never edited.

How colors work

Colors by position, not by name

The first column gets the first color, the second the next. Rename a stage or add one and the board still makes sense, in every sub-account.

What you get

Every part of the board

Set once, applied to every pipeline in every sub-account.

Stage colors

Template colors, colors built from your brand, or one per stage, applied by position.

Stage columns

Headers as cards, tinted, filled or underlined, with deal counts as text or a badge.

Deal cards

Background, border, radius and shadow, the stage color as a stripe or dot, in three densities.

Values that stand out

Deal value bold and in the stage color, so the size of the jobs in each column jumps out.

Toolbar and list view

Pipeline picker, filters and search in soft, pill, glass, outline or bold, and the list view to match.

Dragging still works

Cards never move on hover, so moving a job to the next stage is as precise as before.

Two finishes

Loud and light, or dark and calm

  1. Pick a board design

Choose from the 12 designs in the preview: Neo Brutal for loud and clear, Clean Light or Compact Pro for dense boards.

  2. Set stage colors

Keep the template colors, build them from your brand color or set each one, in the order your stages run.

  3. Save, nothing else changes

Every sub-account board picks up the design on its next page load. Pipelines, stages and deals are never touched.

Inspection checklist

Pipeline design questions

9 questions answered

Q01

Can you change how the GoHighLevel pipeline looks?

Yes. The customizer restyles the opportunities board: stage columns, deal cards, values, the toolbar and the list view. There are 12 board designs to start from.

Q02

Does a pipeline design change my stages or deals?

No. It only changes how the board looks in the browser. Pipelines, stages, deals, automations and reporting stay exactly as they are.

Q03

How do stage colors work with different pipelines?

By column position: the first stage gets the first color, the second the next, repeating after the last. So a repair pipeline, a fleet pipeline and a sales pipeline all get colors without naming stages.

Q04

Can people still drag deals between stages?

Yes. Cards do not move on hover, so drag and drop between stages works exactly as in stock GoHighLevel.

Q05

Is the list view styled too?

Yes, if you want it. The table behind GoHighLevel’s list toggle can follow the same design.

Q06

Are there dark pipeline boards?

Yes, 2 designs are dark, Midnight Neon and Obsidian Gold, with light text on dark columns and cards.

Q07

How does a colored board help a repair shop?

It makes the bottlenecks visible. If "Waiting on parts" is a long grey column on stock GoHighLevel, a colored column with bold deal values shows the service manager where the money is stuck.

Q08

Which package includes a pipeline design?

The Overhaul ($377) and the Full Rebuild.

Q09

Can the board match my dashboard?

Yes. Several designs exist for both, such as Midnight Neon, Obsidian Gold, Ocean Pro and Brand Match, and both can take their colors from your brand.
